A short tutorial about how to set up your first Mockup presentation.
After the first installation you can change the settings to your wishes. Rename everything your client will see and control the layout.
This function works the same as categories in posts. It links the mockup together. If you add two or more mockups to one customer the button 'Show related Mockups' (or you translation) will appear in the header. With this your client can switch fast betweet the mockups.
Now it's time to make your first page. In this page you will see several metaboxes. In the next steps I will explain them one by one.
First give your mockup a clear title. Like: Home page or Store front page. Make it so that your client will understand what it is about.
The first metabox is still empty. Later if your client made remarks you can see them here. The remarks will also be sent to your email address.
If the client approved the mockup you can also see it here. This will also be sent to your email.
Here you can add some comments to your mockup. If left empty the button will not appear in the header.
In the first step you changed the general settings. Two of them you can override here for this mockup only.
The first one is the background color. Give it the same color as you mockup. It will look nice if people have a big screen.
Seconly the header has the option for two colors: light (gray) and dark (black). Choose the one that fits best with the mockup you are showing here.
I made a before and after screenshot. On the left you see the metaboxes empty and on the right it's done.
As you can see I checked the customer the desing is for.
I gave it the order 1 because I want it to appear on top of the related mockups list.
With the WordPress option featured image you can upload your mockup. When you did this you can publish this page. And, if you have more mockups to show, repeat this steps (from step 2) untill you uploaded all of them.
All that's left for you then is to email the link to you client.
